In life, you can’t always choose your availability. But with us, you’re free to start whenever is most convenient! We offer ultra-flexible formulas, so you can start your course whenever you like!

However, if you want to stay with the same group of surfers for the duration of your course, start on a Sunday or Monday.

You can start at around age 6, and there’s no age limit, just the right equipment. And since we’ve got the right board for you… Come and surf! 😉

The 2 formulas are good for learning or perfecting, but they offer different advantages.

Group lessons offer a group experience and the chance to make friends, while progress is accelerated in individual lessons (by as much as double, depending on your budget).

Thanks to the French Surf School label we’ve held since 2005, you’re covered by the French Surfing Federation’s insurance during your surf lessons.

In all cases, we will reimburse you for the course not taken.

A group session lasts 1.5 hour, including 1 hour of instruction.

Private lessons are the same, except if you’d like to surf for longer, in which case we can tailor-make a session for you!

For group courses, a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 8.

Private courses are tailor-made, from 1 to 5 participants, for sessions with family or friends.

The formulas we offer take into account the level of participants as well as their age or affinity.

No. All our packages include the loan of equipment, i.e. boards, wetsuits and even helmets for the little ones.

Our surf lessons are timed to the tide for safety reasons. We surf at the best time of the tide, which shifts every day, morning, noon or evening, depending…

Less time than you might think! From the very 1st lesson, you’ll be on your board, and with a course of 5 or 6 sessions, you’ll already have a good foundation!

Well, wet is wet, so we surf in the rain!

On the other hand, the causes for cancellation are as follows: thunderstorm, storm or strong gale, beach closure (red flag) or lack of waves.

For those willing, we offer an introduction to stand-up paddle (SUP) as an alternative to surfing at Hossegor’s lake.

We offer to reschedule your lesson(s) to a later date(s), and if this is not possible we will refund the full amount of the lesson(s) missed.

Starting out as a beginner, you learn to surf in very shallow water, and practice in the foam on the shore.

However, once you’ve got the hang of it, you can go further, and then it’s imperative that you know how to swim.

For younger surfers (6 to 8 years old), the session always takes place at low tide, with the young surfers practicing exclusively on the shore in an area where they always have a foothold, with the instructor as close as possible.

We issue a free surf passport (Fédération Française de Surfing) which certifies the level acquired. Ask for it before the start of the last lesson of the course.

The diploma certifies your level. You can also get a medal 😉
